Hark Technology for nature · by 800 Trust

Nature is speaking. Are you listening?

Hark is acoustic monitoring designed in New Zealand. It listens to wildlife and environmental sound, identifies species and surfaces events that would otherwise go unnoticed in remote places.

Research and data partnerships

We train and validate Hark’s species models on verified acoustic recordings from different habitats, seasons and conditions. We work with conservation agencies, researchers and iwi so detections are accurate, and so data is used with permission.
